HAMILTON FIELD GUIDE

As a passionate fan and collector of vintage Hamilton watches, I wanted to provide an easy way for fellow collectors to find information about and identify their favorite vintage Hamilton. Hamilton manufactured roughly 1,000 different male wrist watch models and variants between 1917 and 1969. Some look nearly identical to each other.

I spent years creating my own personal database by hunting for and purchasing out-of-print books, old service manuals, and parts catalogs. I've reviewed a trove of information from the National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors (NAWCC) museum and spoke to other collectors who have been passionate about Hamilton longer than me.

To make my life easier I started to catalog all of this information in a way I could search and easily find the information I was looking for. Work smarter, not harder. Realizing others could benefit from this information I created this website.
